DePAW believes there is no “one size fits all” approach to training.
This is why we offer a variety of programs and training approaches to suit any dog/owner team. Regardless of your goals, your dog’s age or your background, we have a program and training method that can help you and your dog.

Description: Every dog is unique, which means they learn and progress differently. The Stay & Train program allows the trainer to get the most done in the shortest time frame. We train and you maintain. The trainers will work one-on-one at the dog’s pace to customize their education. While they stay overnight, dogs are strategically socialized with other people and dogs; they are immersed in different environments; behavioral issues and basic manners are addressed, obedience training and confidence building are what we build from. Specialty or specific goals to be discussed and planned with the owner’s needs.
Because each dog comes with their own wish list and pace of learning, we do offer “weekly add-ons” to the Stay & Train for those that may need a little more time reaching their goals.

Country K9 Pack Walks
Seasonal Spring-Fall, 3 per month, 1-hour per week
$20 each
Description: These 60 minute exercise walks are great for All Dogs to participate in. As a group, we will concentrate on three main tasks:
- Socializing from a distance
- Monitoring our dogs’ impulse control
- All while teaching our dogs not to pull
You and those around you should enjoy each other’s company or the serenity that mother nature offers.
The settings for these pack walks are intended to have a more peaceful background with the right amount of noise levels and distractions. Mainly taking place in parks, paths, and forest preserves, these group sessions will be led by DePAW trainers to teach and assist you along the way.
Our main goal for all dogs has always been to create the best relationship between dog and human. We believe teachings, such as this, open more doors for the wide acceptance of dogs. Everyone knows a dog with good manners is welcome in most public places, and Doggie Manners take practice too.
